AMIS Professional Package

The full package caters for medium to large surveys, usually involving a number of properties.  We offer services for distributing the data over several locations, allowing simultaneous data input during surveys.  For example you can retain a copy of the database while the survey company is conducting its survey, allowing both you and the surveyors to update the system - including planning and prioritising asbestos removals.

If you have a large property catalogue, you may wish us to supply the system with this information already available.  We can provide this service if the information is supplied to us in an electronic format.

Demonstration System

If you wish to try AMIS, we can provide a trial system on approval.  Please contact Mike Vadas on 01202 651 232 for more information.

Survey Management

AMIS has a comprehensive data management interface, including :- Survey register and MDHS100 Compliant Material Assessment and Management Planning tools.

AMIS automatically validates what data is being entered into the database. This ensures the system cannot contain invalid information.

AMIS offers a flexible catalogue management system for the input of building or room lists. Specialist Computing also offer data services for inputting building catalogues based on existing information that you may have. Adding places or rooms is a very simple process using 'wizards' that allow quick and easy addition of each.

Reports

The reporting system in AMIS uses Crystal Reports to generate an entire property report in seconds, this allows simple creation of professional documents either as an on-screen preview or printed out for filing. A built in feature of the reporting system is the ability to export to PDF (Portable Document Format) and exporting to Microsoft Excel formatted spreadsheet as well as other formats.

You can also search through the entire report for specific words or sentences and the program will take you to the page on which your searched for item appears and will highlight the paragraph or section in which it is.

Due to the nature of the system each report can be customised with specific logos and disclaimer text. The main body of the reports is set out to provide the correct information for each instance of asbestos. These sections are based on information required to meet the MDHS100 standard for dealing with assessing risk of any particular area.

An extra reporting feature of AMIS includes the printing of 'Photographic Plates'. These reports feature dynamic photographic linking allowing a photograph to be printed of a specific property or area within a property. Visual samples of asbestos (or suspected asbestos) can then be referenced within a specific risk assessment or entire building as a front page for a report.
