Specialist Computing has developed asbestos systems since 1999, collaborating with numerous organisations to produce desktop and internet solutions. Currently we offer two systems that are tailored to a variety of applications.

AMIS Professional

This desktop application works on Windows computers and small to large MS Windows networks. This application has been used extensively over a number of years on various contracts and has a proven track record.

AMIS boasts a wide range of productivity tools with features for fast processing of survey information, site re-inspection control and reporting services.

The built in reporting tools allow full professional reports to be printed that contains all the information about specific properties and rooms. Using this unique reporting method allows AMIS to output the reports in several different ways. These include Export to PDF (Portable Document Format) and Export to the Microsoft Excel format.

Choose the version that suites your requirements.  We have tailored solutions from the Small Business Edition for small surveys, through to the fully managed website edition.

AMIS Web Edition

This is an internet based system that can be used from almost any location and is comprised of a number of parts. The website can be used from a browser and allows the user to log in and view their data, download reports, photos and CAD drawings. This site is secured with user account log-in and auditing.

An application called AMIS Survey Manager allows users to control information that is uploaded to the website using standard Excel templates. This enables quick delivery of survey content and reduces the need for user training. This system validates the user input before submitting it to the website and has comprehensive undo functions.
