Information Display System - Multi-Display

IDS Multi Display is the newest version of our display system. While previous versions required the use of a PC dedicated to driving a display on its own, this latest release allows a single PC to drive up to 10 independent screens.

Multi Display outputs full screen to any video adaptor inside a windows based PC. This allows multiple adapters to be installed inside the PC saving both cost and space. Windows XP can recognise up to 10 monitors at once and using a combination of Dual and Quad head video adapters we can have up to 9 display screens driven by most modern PCs (the 10th screen being reserved for management and setup of the software)

PCs can be located anywhere inside a building and the video is routed using Video over Cat5 technology. The display PCs can be networked together to share information from the management software and so a single management PC can effectively control an unlimited number of display screens.
