Specialist Computing has been working with the Court Service for over 19 years, providing consultancy on statistics and latterly developing and implementing computer applications.
Specialist Computing initially provided consultancy, training and implementation support for Fujitsu and since 1995 has developed software for the Court Service.
These applications have been supplied to many Court areas. Emphasis has been placed on providing facilities that assist the operation of the courts and to provide timely information with the experience and requirements of court staff being noted in the development of the packages.

In addition to working with many Court Areas, we have implemented centrally based automatic statistical collection systems.
All applications have been developed either completely in Microsoft Access or a combination of Visual Basic and Microsoft Access Databases, with Court Diary, Warrant Tracking and Licensing being available through the Libra Catalogue.
Services provided by Specialist Computing include installation, training and telephone support.
Display Systems
In addition to the many administrative solutions we have developed for the Courts, we have also produced public information display software. These systems include facilities to produce lists of defendant appearances, for automated display on Plasma and TFT screens in strategic locations.
