Royal International Air Tattoo

The Tattoo is the largest military air show in the world, with the aim of raising funds for RAF charities, whilst providing entertainment for the public.

Mike Pomeroy and Kate Starmer both work on the site management team with a group of volunteers. Kate has been a volunteer since 2006 and Mike since 1984!

Specialist Computing has developed software to assist with task management for the site services team.

BBC Children In Need

Specialist Computing maintains it's association with the BBC Children in Need Appeal by the development and support of a database to process orders from an on-line shopping facility.

We are part of a "Calendar Crew" of dedicated "TOGs" (Terry's Old Geezers) who have extended an area of operation from an annual TOGs Calendar into an organisation that has raised over £4,000,000 for Children In Need in 9 years of fundraising.

BBC Children in Need Appeal Night is Friday 18th November 2011.
